Who we are

Riley Ventures LLC, d/b/a Acme Studio (“Cannons,” “we,” “us”) provides the Cannons product and this website at cannons.ai (together, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we process personal information collected through the Service, marketing pages, early access waitlist, and support channels.

Cannons is a visual transformation and progress-tracking product for adults. It is not a medical device and is not intended to collect clinical health-diagnosis data.

Personal information we collect

We collect what we need to run the site, waitlist, app (when available), and support. Apple handles App Store checkout when subscriptions are live. We do not need government IDs or raw payment-card numbers.

• Contact data: email and any message you send to support or legal addresses.
• Waitlist data: email you submit for early access on this marketing site.
• Account and preference data (in-app, when available): account identifiers, journey settings, saved what-if directions, and notification preferences.
• Photos and journey media you upload or capture in the app (progress photos, what-if outputs you choose to keep). These are user content for your journey, not a public feed by default.
• Device and usage data: device type, OS version, app version, crash logs, and product analytics events (for example CTA clicks and feature use) when enabled.
• Transaction data (when subscriptions are live): subscription status and product identifiers via Apple / RevenueCat. We do not store full payment card numbers.
• Website analytics: pages viewed, referrers, device/browser data, and IP-derived coarse location when analytics are enabled.

Product privacy principles

These commitments guide how we build Cannons. Operational details match what ships in the app:

• Private by default: body photos and journeys are not intended for a required public body feed.
• No body ratings: we do not score attractiveness or assign beauty ratings.
• No model training without permission: we will not use your photos to train models without your explicit permission.
• Export and control: you should be able to export your journey and request deletion as described below.

What we do not claim yet

Until verified in production, we do not claim that all processing happens on-device, that images never leave your phone, end-to-end encryption of all media, immediate deletion everywhere, automatic iCloud backup, or that no server storage exists.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Operate the waitlist, marketing site, and (when live) app features: what-if explorations, tracking, and sharing tools you choose to use.
• Process subscriptions and restore purchases through Apple / RevenueCat when available.
• Communicate about the Service, security, and (with consent or as allowed) product updates.
• Measure product quality, prevent abuse, and debug crashes.
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with processors who help us operate the Service, including Apple, RevenueCat, hosting, email (for example Resend for waitlist mail), analytics vendors, and similar infrastructure providers.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or in a merger or sale of the business, subject to this policy’s commitments.

Retention

We keep waitlist and account data for as long as needed to provide the Service, then for a limited period needed for backups, disputes, and legal obligations. You may request deletion as described below.

Your rights (U.S. state privacy notices)

Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other comprehensive-privacy states), you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, or port personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling.

To exercise rights, email privacy@cannons.ai or legal@cannons.ai. We will verify your request and will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. You may submit a request through an authorized agent by emailing us. If we deny a request, email us again to appeal.

We do not currently have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

Children and age

Cannons is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and transfers

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. If we store or process data outside your country, we will use appropriate transfer mechanisms.

Updates and contact
